Design is in Allegra’s DNA, her family have all been involved in design one way or another, through the world of antiques and interior design and fashion. She has worked with well known London based advertising, public relations and graphic design agencies, as well as working on GMTV as a room stylist.

Allegra graduated from the Garden Design School based at the Bristol University Botanical Gardens. The lead lecturer Robin Williams, a renowned and accomplished garden and landscape designer with an international reputation and award winning gardens in the UK and overseas. Robin is a key figure in garden design education including RHS Wisley, the SGD, BALI and APLD USA and shares his extensive knowledge with his students.

Allegra also trained at the Tisserand Institute (est. in 1988) in London; known as a leading educator for fact-based education on the potency, potential and benefits of essential oils derived from plants for human well-being. This gave her a deep and science based understanding of essentials oils, their organic chemistry, the effects of aroma, and their effects on our senses. Allegra has a special interest in sensory and physic gardens, this adds another dimension to her designs.
